how we see

More than once, I’ve had friends tell me they are going to buy better cameras so they can take better photographs. They tell me how powerful my photos are, how they could do the same if they only had the latest equipment. Not true.

What they don’t grasp is good photography is about how they see, not the equipment.

So I am embarking on a teaching exercise for all of you who want to take better photographs. I am going to give you simple exercises to help you see what the camera sees so that you begin to develop an eye for photographs.

In conjunction with that, I am putting together a series of walking workshops where we will focus on how we see and how that translates in photographs, good and not so good. I will keep you up to date on when, where and how much.

Join me and learn how we see…
